HygroLog NT
Docking Stations with Web Server
Instruction manual for the DS-U4WEB docking station

The HygroLog NT is available with several Ethernet docking stations that feature a Web Server. Currently available models are: DS-NT4WEB, DS-U4WEB and DS-U4WEB-420

To access measurement data and most functions of the HygroLog NT, simply use a web browser such as Internet Explorer on any PC connected to the same LAN as the data logger and docking station. When the IP address of the data logger is a public address, access via Internet is available from practically anywhere. The Web Server offers the following functionality:

  • Current measurement data in table form (automatically refreshed every 60 seconds). Data from up to 7 probes and 2 external contacts can be displayed

  • Graphic representation of the humidity, temperature and calculated parameter (such as dew point) from up to 7 probes. The chart displays one parameter at a time (simply click with the mouse on the desired parameter)

  • Scheduling of data recording by the data logger (same as with HW4)

  • Downloading of log files to the PC (similar to downloading files from the Internet)

  • Configuration of both the data logger and docking station

  • Generation of files in XML format which may be used to document the configuration of the data logger and docking station and / or to integrate data into other applications.

Access to the different functions can be password protected (4 levels of password protection).

Docking stations with a web server are fully compatible with the ROTRONIC HW4 software and can be attached to a network monitored by HW4. The only restriction is that these docking stations do not have a RS-485 interface and cannot be used as an interface to connect other instruments and devices to the network.
