HygroClip DI Networking

The ROTRONIC HW4 software allows the on-line monitoring on a PC of an almost unlimited number of networked devices. When the number of available ports (USB or Ethernet) is limited, up to 64 devices (master included) can be connected together using a multi-dropped RS-485 network. In principle, an unlimited number of such networks can be used.

Example 1: HygroClip DI-4 (Ethernet wired) or HygroClip DI-4-WL (wireless Ethernet) Each HygroClip DI network interface (see below: IP address 2 Master) allows up to 63 devices (RS-485 slaves) to to be monitored by a single PC.

Example 2: HygroClip DI-3 with USB port The number of HygroClip DI interfaces that can be directly connected to a PC depends on the number of USB ports available on the PC.
